Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) was established under the Assam Private Universities Act 2007, in the state of Assam,India. The university is a project of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) executed by the international Don Bosco Society. The university is located in Guwahati, Assam,
India. ADBU is accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’.
The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), India. The university is also approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC), India and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. ADBU is a recognized member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), India,the Association of Commonwealth Universities, (ACU), UK and the International Association of Universities (IAU), France.
