Admission, withdrawal and refund terms governing enrolment in DBU CDOE programs

Applicable to all enrolments

Term and Conditions

ADBU Programs follow a structured withdrawal policy, detailed below. The procedure to withdraw and claim refunds will follow the milestones as per the enrolment cycle a candidate applies within.

Candidates found ineligible or applicants being rejected for any other reason, at the application stage, will be refunded the total amount.

Candidates who wish to withdraw their candidature before receiving the University's approval will be refunded the paid amount, after a deduction of the amount paid towards the Application & Registration Fee.

Students who wish to withdraw from the program after receiving the University approval may do so up to a period of one month from the date of their admission being confirmed. In such a case, the University shall refund fees paid by the candidate after deducting Rs. 3,000 towards Administrative Charges (for students enrolled under the Indian National Category) and USD 150 towards Administrative Charges (for students enrolled under the Overseas Indian / SAARC National / Foreign National Category). Also, should the University already have dispatched the course pack, books or other student material, and allocated an LMS ID, the due cost of such material, the LMS software licence and shipping shall also be debited from the amount to be refunded. Amount paid by the student towards University Fee / University portion of the fee / Exam Fee, Registration Fee, and Eligibility Fee would be refunded or not refunded as per University policy in place.

The University and the Institute shall not accept any requests for refund after the above mentioned period — i.e. after a month of receiving the University approval enrollment (intimation may be made via email / post) confirming the student's admission to the program.

What is an ABC ID?

The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID is a unique 12-digit number created for every learner under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It works like a digital wallet where the credits you earn at different institutions are stored, added up and carried with you.

Creating your ABC ID early makes admission formalities smoother. Keep your Aadhaar-linked mobile number with you while you register.

Step-by-step process

  1. 1
    Open the official ABC portal

Go to www.abc.gov.in, the Government of India’s ABC platform.

  2. 2
    Sign in with DigiLocker

Choose the student option and sign in or sign up with your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

  3. 3
    Fill in your details

Enter your name, date of birth and other details exactly as they appear on your documents.

  4. 4
    Verify and submit

Check the information, confirm with the OTP and submit the form.

  5. 5
    Save your 12-digit ABC ID

Note it down and share it with the DBU admissions team when asked.
