BA (Honours) English programme at Don Bosco University provides the students with a comprehensive and stimulating introduction to English language and an exploration into English Literature. It also investigates how the English language is used in a variety of global contexts, with introductions to British, American and Indian writings in English. They will explore writing and speech in a wide range of forms (creative writing, academic writing and composition, language and linguistics), and develop their skills in the interpretation of literary and non-literary texts.

On completion of the course, students will have options of pursuing higher studies or find careers in writing, journalism, hospitality management etc.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) in any stream with 50% in the aggregate and 50% in English.
