About the Department
The Electronics & Communication Engineering branch has seeped into various multidisciplinary fields – be it from vehicular communication to wireless telecommunication or from life style to health. The recent trends in electronics deals with the implementation of principles and applications designed for interrelated fields. Internet of Things/ Everything is the word buzzing around us in which sensors plays a very vital role.
The Department of ECE of ADBU boasts of having faculty members who are specialized in the area of optical biosensors, nano sensors, antenna design, bioinformatics, signal processing, artificial intelligence and energy harvesting. The faculty members of the Department are well equipped to quench the thirst of knowledge of students having different interests.

Innovation and Initiatives
All these productive development was carried out by the members of ECE Department under the able guidance of Prof. Sunandan Baruah. These products were developed as an alternative for costlier similar products which were available in the market. The water purifier is a product based on the patent by Prof. Sunandan Baruah.
