Department Profile
The Department of Public Administration was launched in the year 2021 as a response to the felt need of offering the subject for civil service aspirants. Public Administration has been one of the most popular subject choices in competitive exams as the subject deals with various management and organizational skills which are crucial for civil servants apart from enriching the knowledge of the students in governmental organizational frameworks and functioning. In addition, for those aspiring to be teachers either in School or College levels, there will soon be a demand in North East India for academicians in this subject as more institutions are starting to offer the subject.
Vision
To produce competent graduates in Public Administration who aspire to become administrators, academicians and industry experts. The department aims to enhance the capability of the students to understand and analyse government policies and implementations while preparing them to acquire skills to effectively manage and promote positive changes in the public sectors and the society.

The Department of Public Administration at the Assam Don Bosco University seeks to:
